Personality;;
All throughout high school, Aubrey was a very SHY, TIMID individual. She went to a very small school, and the same group of people had known each other for twelve years. Even if she wanted to, she could not have changed how she was known. Her freshman year of college, she decided she would try to become an OUTGOING, because nobody knew her there. She used moving to Seaview as an opportunity to completely revamp herself.
The source of her shyness in high school was largely related to her INSECURITY about her weight and appearance when she was younger. She was slightly overweight, and was teased about it in elementary and middle school. She did not have many friends growing up, because unfortunately, the girls at her school tended to base their friends on looks alone.
Now that she attends Seaview, Aubrey has tons of friends, because of her GENUINE, COMPASSIONATE, personality. She wants to be there for everyone when they need her, and that is something she prides herself on. Lately, she has found herself becoming more and more SPONTANEOUS in everything she does, which has not always worked out the best for her, especially she has always been someone to sit down and think things out.
In school now, even though she is a lot of fun to be around, Aubrey tends to be very PRIVATE about her life at home. She is still very INSECURE about many things, and only her closest of friends know her story. She is afraid that if what she used to be like gets out, the same thing will happen here at Seaview, and that is something she is determined to not let happen.
Appearance;;
Aubrey stands at five foot six, and even though that is considered an average height, she wishes she were at least three inches shorter. Her hair is artificially dyed platinum blonde, as she disliked her natural dark brown colored hair. Running every day keeps her in shape, and with the two sports she plays, she has a very athletic, toned body. Her skin is very pale, however, with three years of living at Seaview, she tends to be fairly dark. Her breasts are something she prides herself on as well. When she graduated high school, she was an A cup, but soon after, decided that along with her personality, she needed to change some of the more physical aspects of herself. She now wears a DD cup, and she feels much more confident, because looks are so important to her. She has some piercings, but she tends to pierce things that do not show unless searched for, besides her belly button.
Past;;
Aubrey was always a very fortunate child growing up. She lived in a small town in south central Massachusetts, where she resided for her entire life. Both of her parents were physicians, and worked in Boston. Her mother worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and her father worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Being physicians, however, her parents were not around much when she was growing up, and became very independent as a result.
Aubrey considered herself average, and was a very happy little girl. Starting in fourth grade, that all changed for her. She was overweight for her age, and subsequently was teased for it. This led to her becoming not quite depressed, but not having many friends and not having a very enjoyable childhood. Luckily, her next door neighbor and her happened to be very close. Bianca and Aubrey attended different schools, and this was something Aubrey was thankful for. While she could always vent to Bianca, she would not let her know the full extent of how dreadful school was for her.
Early in her high school years, Aubrey started to rebel a little, hoping to be liked by her peers. She started regularly experimenting with drugs and alcohol, and since her parents were not around much, she was able to get away with it. As she had hoped, this did earn her a new group of friends. She became friends with people who attended the nearby private schools, and they did not know how she was known at her school. In this group of friends, while they were not the best influences on her, she felt as though she fit in, and this was a feeling she enjoyed very much.
When senior year finally rolled around, Aubrey had no idea what she wanted to do with the rest of her life, and she found applying to colleges very difficult. She was torn between applying to schools within a two hour radius of her hometown, but at the same time, she wanted to escape all of the drama and pain that haunted her there. That was when her mother started pressuring her to become a doctor, like her parents. They made it seem like she had a choice in the matter, but whenever Aubrey brought up something different than medicine that she was interested in pursuing, her parents seemed disappointed in her. She ended up choosing Seaview to escape her past, and her parents as well.
Aubrey moved into Seaview freshman year with newly dyed platinum blonde hair, an altered bust, and a whole new outlook on life. She found herself easily making friends, and having tons of fun at school. She rarely visited home, because pain was the only thing that greeted her there. She kept busy at school, joining the volleyball and hockey teams. Most of her time was spent on the beach when she was not in class, even though she was studying on the beach most of the time. Even though pre-med was not her choice of major, she felt compelled to make her parents proud and maintain a 3.8 GPA.
This year was her senior year, her last year at Seaview. She was determined to make it the best year of her life, even though she knew it would be stressful. Searching for medical schools, maintaining her GPA and studying for the MCATs would be hard, especially as the senioritis was starting to set in...
